Matter, Turkeys, and Cowboys, Oh My!

Shopping at the Book Fair!


In science we learned about solids liquids and gases. 
First we were liquid particles...they move close together and slowly. 


Then we were solid particles...they don't move and are very close together. 


Last we were gas particles. They move very fast and far apart. 


Howdy Partner!!!  Western day at school!






In weiting we explored our five senses using our magic cameras. Students focused on creating detailed sentences from sentence starters verbally.

Sentences and Scientists

We learned about complete sentences. Students had to work in groups to put together a complete sentence that made sense!






Then we became engineers. We learned that engineers are a type of scientist. Our goal was to build a tower out of solid objects. Here is what we came up with...
