Apple Experiment

In science we did an experiment to see which liquid keeps apples from turning brown when they are exposed to air.

First we made predictions. Would water, lemon juice, soda or milk keep an apple slice from turning brown?

Miss Shissler and the class discussed our predictions.

Then it was time to start experimenting!

Ask your child about their observations and our results!

Special Visit Today!!!

Mr. Kramer, our principal, came to read to us today!

Before and After

Today in math we learned about number lines. We practiced what comes before, after and between numbers. We used a giant number line to add and subtract.

Weather and Temperature

Today in math learned about weather and temperature.

We learned about temperatures and thermometers.

Students then had to point to where different temperatures would be located on a thermometer.

We sure do know our temperatures!

Then students worked together in groups to create weather posters and shared then with the rest of the class.
